Good Morning!

I wanted to update my blog early this morning. I ran accross this pamphlet while at my son's kindergarden orientation. It's a marathon for kid's. Check it out.... http://www.seattlemarathon.org/kids.asp I was thinking of enrolling our two boys in it. It's for ages K-8 to participate in a Marathon, Read and Do right deeds. I thought it was a really positive idea! It is sponsored by The University of Washington Medical Center.

Other than that, I was reminded of this cool bible software site ... http://www.e-sword.net/ . You can download some great resources for studiing the Bible.

Anyway, I am whisteling while I work. Thought I would Alphabetize my VHS movie's and then move upstairs to Alphabetize my DVD's. I have become "intentional" about organization and living clutter free. Wish me luck - It's a work in progress!

Schedule Change...

My 8 year old son came to me with this joke today and I had to share it....

Q: What has 6 eyes, but cannot see?
A: 3 Blind Mice

Anyway, yesterday I started my new job as an assistant/intern at a Private school in Bellevue. Commuting from Lake Stevens I leave about an hour and 10 minutes prior to my shift to insure I arrive on time. So far so good! I've needed that extra time ( about 20 minutes ) to make up for missing exits and turning left instead of right. Although, I've lived on the eastside before, I forget, and I get the directions of left and right mixed up a lot! Unless of course, I look at my arms. It's all good though. God, gave me arms for a reason- visual ques!
Anyway, as I trekked down HWY 9 and 405 I grabbed an old CD. TRC's Reveal CD and listened faithfully. Jamming to my favorites, and unexpectedly encountering God on my commute. Today I did the same. Heck I have about 2-2.5 hours in the car round trip! I decided to add something. I had 2 teaching CD's from my church in the car today. One was about "living intentionally" and the other was about "living with direction". Wow! Granted I am now familiar with which worship songs to listen to during certain times of my commute, but that's another story...:)
Today was also moving day for some neighbors of ours. Ruben and I have grown close to them and will miss them, but luckily we will be able to keep in touch since they are not moving far. They are the type of people that you want in your life. Always upbeat and positive! They have a great plan for their life and are moving with excitement for what lies ahead. I wish them all the best!
Anyway, next week is the week! Kids are back in school and our new schedule takes effect. Pray for us that all runs smoothly; but above all that God's will is done because we need his direction! Thank You!
